I came back from lunch to find this email in my inbox:

Hi everyone

To avoid any risk of losing large cheques* that we've received, please be aware of this method for delivering large cheques:

·         Place the cheque in the Assets Mail ‘slot’ in the Mail Room on level 3.  Assets do a daily collection from the slot.

·         If you are unsure of where the Asset Mail ‘slot’ is, please ask Wayne, or his substitute, in the mail room for help.

 Some cheques have been reported missing between buildings when Internal Mail has been used.

*  Cheques of large amounts, not novelty extra-large sized cheques – these are safe to go via internal mail.
